We use an online system for daily diaries and learning journeys that parents can access at any time. You will be able to securely log on to access information and photos from your child’s day, as well as be able to add comments or send messages through the system.
Being online not only helps the environment, but means that your child’s information is available to you 24/7 from anywhere in the world. The system meets all security regulations and we are registered with data control so you can be rest assured that the information is secure.
We use a system called Famly which is the most advanced EYFS childcare management software system. The system is safe, secure, simple to use and the most popular system used by nurseries and pre-schools. It allows parents to view and connect with their children’s information, so that you can track your child’s Early Years Development every step of the way.
Famly is an interactive system that allows you to see everything that’s going on while your child is at Green Roots. It can inform you of: bottle feeds, nappy changes, sleep times, observations, photos, their progress and well being and more! There are numerous different features that we use so that your child’s progress is recorded in great detail, so that we can cater to each child’s individual needs.
The system also coincides with our approach of working with parents to ensure mutual support and caring for the child. Parents can also record observations, next steps, photos, medications, leave private messages, etc. So although you are not with your child at Green Roots, you are still able to check up on them digitally, every step of the way.
