At Green Roots, we offer our staff the opportunity to grow. We provide training for further childcare qualification, paid study time for eligible degree students, and pay increases for achieving certain qualifications. Ambitious team members also have the opportunity to advance in their career from Trainee Nursery Practitioner to Deputy Manager.
At Green Roots, our ratios of staff to children are carefully planned in order to optimise the amount of care for each individual child. Our supernumerary teams are greater than Ofsted ratios, allowing for more consistent care and attention for each child. This also allows for more planning time and flexible rotas, which help maintain a greater work life balance for our staff.
At Green Roots, we reward exceptional work and like to give our staff the recognition that they deserve. We have a culture of celebrating our top stars and each Employee of the Month receives high street vouchers. We also have a bonus for 100% attendance and your birthday off! Alongside this we have annual team building events, free food/ drinks and an annual Christmas party.
We empower all staff to deliver a fantastic customer experience by providing them with the tools they need to succeed. Our staff room and lockers are provided with free provisions, such as tea, coffee, juice, fruit and biscuits so that you can relax on breaks. We allocate an arts and crafts budget, with all resources replenished monthly, as well as provide an Employee Assistance Programme.
